Job Purpose

The role of the ISO 27001 Managing Consultant includes the overall management and execution of client engagements and internal activities related to ISO 27001 certifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Oversee the execution of client engagements and readiness assessments related to ISO 27001 and other IT audit engagements.

· Identifies and communicates IT audit findings to the partner group and clients.

· Help identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients and staff.

· Communicate effectively with the clients and team members.

· Participate in client meetings and foster client relationships through proactive communication.

· Supervise and provide performance management for audit staff working on assigned engagements.

· Provide weekly status reports to management.

· Proactively communicate to management regarding any potential issues.

· Train staff and seniors in the IT audit team.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, cyber security, or management information systems.

Experience

· At least 5-8 years of experience performing IT audits or IT consulting engagements at a Big 4 or other audit/consulting firm.

· At least 3-5 years of experience performing ISO 27001 audits under an accredited ISO 27001 certification body.

Certifications

· Currently holds an ISO 27001 LA or LI, CISA, CISSP, QSA, or other relevant certification.
